I couldn't resist - these guys were on sale for 10 bucks each.  My QT has been running for a while - so here they are, they will eventually go in the 40B which is empty except for two sexy shrimp.

Thanks guys, they have been together since I put them in the QT.  Nice little guys they wouldn't eat mysis but they sure went after the cyclops.  I hope to have a couple of breeding pairs to try raising clown fry (or larvae).  Now I am on the hunt for a female Banggai - any tricks on finding a female Bang Guy, all the one's at the LFS are small.

Buy 3.  Keep them in a quaranteen tank with your male until they pair up.  Give away anyone that your male fights with.

Just to give you an idea on how fast they mature, I once found a bunch of fry in a grow-out tank.  The oldest fish in the tank was 6 months old.  So, a small female will have no problem breeding with a much larger male.

Nice clowns Al. It looks like you have them in a "finding nemo" environment LOL. "Your artificial coral". Nice pic btw. They look really healthy.:)

I bought these fake coral for next to nothing, so far every fish that has been in the QT seem to like them.  I would never think of putting it in my reef though.  Thanks for looking luvmyreef

The clowns look great. Are you going to try your hand at breeding them?

Yes I am - I have a nice pair of Osc. in my reef right now that are over 2 years old - the female keeps cleaning an area - I think they should be spawning soon.  I want to set up an area in my basement for raising them.  I still need to do a lot of research and start growing some rotifiers for them and green water for the rotifiers.  Thanks for looking Krista
