Back in the game...

Hello all a few years back you all helped me from starting a tank brand new in the hobby to maintaining a reef for a good long while. I took some time off the hobby to get deployed for a few years. NOW I"M BACK!

I'm thinking of starting a 20g since room is limited. My most successful tank i ever had running was my 10g so i'm confident in my ability to maintain a very minimal bio-load 20g.

I'm thinking 2 inch sandbed

The most possible live rock i can fit before it gets cluttered.

I was also thinking i want to use 2-HOB filters one regular and one with maybe some cheato.(if its still considered one of the better algae to have)

I'd like to get away with just one powerhead if possible...

Is 96 Watt T5HO good enough on a 24x12x16?

Thanks. I'm gonna take it real slow. I found 2 nice stores that have a TON of frags. I can't wait to grow some out and do some trading.

Welcome back and thank you for your service to our country!! Take it slow. It doesn't hurt to do a little research and refresh your memory. You've got some time before your tank is ready for coral.

Welcome back! It sounds like you will have great filtration with all of that live rock! Good idea with the two filters too......thumbsup.gif
