I just brought my first clown fish home today. He is in a new tank... I took a water sample into the fish store and they said everything was ok. He was doing really good today, sat in one area when I first got him home, then started to swim around a little more, then he went back to kinda staying in the same area. I was going to go to bed, so I turned off his lights and turned off the lights in the house. I went back out to check on him and he was at the bottom of the tank, leaning against a tank decoration he was hanging out by before. He wasn't moving around a whole lot, like earlier he wouldn't sit still, so this was different to what I saw of him before. I turned the light on and he seemed to perk up a bit and moved around the tank a little bit. Was he just sleeping? Or is there something wrong with him. I don't know if fish "sleep" or should I not be turning his light off?? :( Any help is appreciated!
