Bristleworms?

Hey there!

I am not sure if there are any threads in this but I need a quick answer so I don't have time to look right now.

Are bristleworms pink on the ends and brown in the middle? or are those fireworms?

I've got quite a few in my tank, with no fish will they cause damage to anything?

Will all wrasse eat bristleworms?

Are there any other types of fish that will?

Welcome to the site.

Pleanty of bristle worm threads.... promise ya...... lol

Yes that is a bristle worm you are describing. Benifical clean up crew, as long as they are small, only larger ones cause irritation to corals and such.

Don't know if all wrasses will, I know there are quite a few...

Fish... don't know, but Arrow crabs and coral banded shrimp will!

Well thank you for replying!!

Yes I went searching once I had the chance and I see the posts haha.

I have known I've had them all along but haven't seen them in a while and when I fed once I added a whole bunch of stuff yesterday, and this morning, I saw like 5 or more and they seemed pretty big. Of course I only saw what they poked out of their holes, but still. Though they are good in the tank they just creep me out.

But at least I get to add more stuff to my tank now to get em'. I just added some peterson's shrimp yesturday!!!

So anyway good to know.
