Found a guy selling his tank and got a great deal on purple mushroom, fuzzy green mushroom rock and star polyp mat. Just some pictures... These are my first corals.... Healthy looking? Pics were taken 10 min after putting them in the tank

Purple shroom. One of the 7 that were larger. They were all detached so I hope they stay stuck. 3 have already floated away to who knows were... Also, don't mind the dirty back ground I have neglected the back wall :/

scared the bejesus out of me. Not the only one spotted during acclimation. At least 3 others. They got to stay.

I don't know what bejesus is, but doesn't sound good to have it out of you...... unless its like getting the sh-- scared outta ya then I guess its cool on the outside.

That is a SWEET brittle star, how big is it?

Free floating shrooms..... do you have a fine mesh substance? Like panty hoes or such? caus people will take that kind of stuff and put the mushrooms in there with live rock rubble and put them in a low flow area to reattach... just a though.... Cause those are sweet mushrooms!

I hate GSP (green star polyps) with a passion. My warning is, keep them clear of anything you don't want them to take over....... IMO they are a weed...... But sweet pick ups!!!!

Bejesus is getting the sh scared outta me times 5. Im terrified of touching that kinda stuff. I had a hard time touching the purple shrooms! And the brittle climbed out as soon as i sat the rock in the bucket. Ick haha. The star i got a pic of is bigger then a half dollar. And he wasnt the only big one. Surprised it could fit in the hole it was in. And its surprisingly not shy. He crawled acrosses my tank as soon as i put it in, with the light still on.
Iv heard bad things about the GSP. :/ i hope it doesnt grow to crazy.. even though myself first concern is for it to attach yet.

Ok I hope that you are female or really young...... problems with touching shrooms? lol hylarious........

Brittle stars are very flexable!!!! And you got some sweet ones!

This hobby is kinda a mans way of getting to touch stuff that we weren't ment to from the ocean.... but thats my perspective because of my 5 year old son, he wants to touch everything.... including the stuff from the tank.......

Ohh it will grow.... and like a weed it shall spread.... But once again its my own opinion, that I am forcing upon ya.............. lol hope for the best!
