could we add a small skunk or fire cleaner shrimp?

could 2 or 3 fish be added....

A pair of Skunk Cleaners or a pair of Neon Gobies or a single Clown goby or a single Barnacle Blenny is the most I would suggest.

yeah 2 teeny tiny fish and a shrimp is max for that tank...

barnacle blennies are SOOOOO cute though!!

a clown goby is about the only other sized fish you could put in there...

what about corals?

what is the lighting on it? that is what will decide what kind of corals you can have. but for that sized tank i would suggest some brightly colored zoas, and ricordias. something that will stand out nicely and wont grow so much that it will be to much for the little room it has.

its the stock lighting on the jbj.  its 18 watts. cf 50/50

to be honest i dont think you can have any coral with that kind of lighting, someone correct me if im wrong please

Sun polyps would look stunning in that tank.

would zoos be ok?

It is possible that you can feed enough to keep Zoanthids alive.  But then you will have brown Zoanthids and nutrient problems in the tank.  I recommend against this but it is possible.

what you guys think?

am thinking of upgrading the lights in here. but trying to leave the hood there.

you could probably do a DIY LED lighting fixture that would still fit in the stock hood.
