Vacation!

So, as some of y'all know, I'm gonna be going on a vacation soon to the Dominican Republic! Woohoo!

That is really why I haven't been active on here lately.... I'm not gonna be on here while I'm down there... so I'm acclimating myself to it! Lol!

I'm gonna be snorkeling around some reefs, hence why bought an underwater camera case!!! I'll definitely post the snorkeling pics on here!

So I got the camera case in the mail a couple of days ago. $10... and what a waste of money. It was so thin that my camera's lens didn't have room to come out.... so I made a homemade one from 5 zip lock bags put into each other.... and it works GREAT! Tested it out in the bathtub, and completely water proof. I put it through some vigorous testing too. Lol. The pics are a bit grainy from having it in the case but whatever... I'm just excited that I'll be able to take snorkeling pics and post them on here!

I'm leaving my house tomorrow at 5 AM! It's 10PM here, so thats in 7 hours! woohoo!

No need to leave the resort here! The hotel were staying at is connected with 4 other resorts, owned by the same company (Riu), so theres plenty to do here!

I love it here in the Dominican Republic. In jeans and a t shirt right now, 78 ish degrees and sunny.

Hahahaha, OK guys. Its around 90ish today...

I went snorkeling today... not on an excursion or anything.... also not near the hotel... we swam out around 30 feet, after walking away from the resort on a more secluded beach.

There was a giant bed of seaweed... and... there was a school of anthias! I couldn´t identify exactly the species, but it had yellow lines.

I´ll be snorkeling again today, and then tommorow Im gonna go on an excursion to La Romana to snorkel there.

Im enjoying myself here.
