Tank Sitting for 2 years is it Safe?

I have a Question regarding my tank? I have a 90 gallon saltwater tank that has been sitting for about 2 years and i have no fish in there but i have live rock that looks still alive I turn the pump on and let it run a little about once a month. Is this dangerous and how can i begin to revive my tank? Thank you.

i would do a 90% water change ,get the system running and test the water in a few days.

Test your salinity - do a large water change - make sure all your electrical equipment is in safe areas and all lines are drip looped. Then, test your water parameters in about a few days to a week for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate.

Yep I agree with both... large W/C, then test.. as long as it all comes back clear in a a few weeks you should be good to start up again
