Can I just get one or is getting two an almost requirement?

 

I have never dealt with inverts before and this is almost all new to me lol.

I have never been able to keep two in my tank. For some reason, one would die off. I think they typically do best in pairs.

I have had 1 in my tank alone for about 5 months. He has tripled in size and seems very happy.

you don't need a second one. you can get just one if you like. I prefer to watch them in pairs but generally I only kept one per tank that housed fish due to the cost of having one per tank.

Getting ready to bust some heads.. getting ready to go down to the lfs so that I can get this shrimp replaced. Still in the bag and I brought it as they closed so they better do it or I will be very pissed.

When you get one home remember to acclimate very slowly IMO 2 plus hrs. of acclamation

Thanks luv, I got full credit for them.
Joe - Thanks will be sure to do it when I get it next week. Thing for me is that it died within 15 mins of my ride home.
