I have one. Clown currently in my tank i got him two days ago and still have not seen him sleep. The day I got him I also got a blue green chromis. So is it normal I have not seen him sleep. Also within a week I want to get two more fish a blue green chromis and another clown(same type). Will it be safe to put them in without them fighting. Also I ask you guys becouse I see you guys give upto date info and learned from mistakes and I am only 13 and run on money give to me for working around he house and babysitting my brother so you see why there's no money for me to waste and you guys are a lot more trustworthy then my petstore becouse I think they try to scam me becouse I'm young so thank for those who help.

You should ahve got two clowns at the same time, these guys are always moving, I have two in my main reef and I never see them stop, yours are fine. You just added three fish I would wait at least 3 weeks before I would add anymore, just so your tank can catch up with the extra bioload. And when you get another clown make sure it is the same species and get one that is smalller than the one you have, there might be a bit of fighting but they will get along eventually. How big is your tank by the way?

Fish don't technically sleep......so it's fine
IF you add a 2nd clown, make sure it is smaller

I have two small one's in QT right now, at night when the lights are off they at at the surface swimming in one place, always together.
ThankYou both and Burke i have a 14 g Biocube but am working on 65 g tank but saving up for lighting and sump and also the sand and rock so got a long time for that

I would not add much more to a 14G.......if anything maybe a small clown goby
wait until you have the bigger tank before you get anymore fish
