Decided I needed to paint the den prior to setting up the new tank. Sooooooooo  Started Sunday afternoon, finished up Monday afternoon.  Tank has been soaking for 2 days. Finally its cleaned and in place.  Looks FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC.   Visited two lfs and got some GREAT info from Chris at Kermits Reef regarding reef tanks vs fish only.  At Kermits I bought some black & white aragonite live sand.  Hit MemFish after work, got more info and a AquaClean Power Filter 110 HOB and some rock(not live rock, was advised to get the salinity stable before adding live rock or live sand)  and came home to get started.  Got my water and salt mixed - cleaned the filter and attached it per the instructions. Drip drip drip drip.. WTH? flaming.gif   I thought the tank was leaking after  I

had TRIPLE checked it.  PANIC...  Sedative(glass of wine) Checked closer, no leak, but the BRAND NEW filter had a crack down the entire right side.  Didn't catch it during the install. :(  So, its boxed up and heading back to the lfs tomorrow :(  BOOO BAD!!    I have my light and heater ordered, they will be here in 2 days..  Bought a light that supports fish and/or reef. bigg.gifI am still undecided.     Leaning to dwarf fuzzy, tang, wrasse, crab...   thats as of this moment..  Its ALL subject to change :)  LOL   wave.gif

Den w/ tank setup

Yeah thats a ladder in front of the tank - MAN I am gonna have a hard time getting in there! LOL   wonder if I can chop the legs down on the stand??  laughing.gif
