I thought I recalled you saying something about using the Reef Crest mode.....

Sorry I was doing the water change.

I have it in yellow mode....which is reef crest random

I will adjust the sump return...that's easy....LOL

as far as moving the MP40's.......I think I can move the one on the right (side with leather tree and BTA's and bubble)     down a couple of inches w/o causing to much flow on the corals.....and I will have to move it closer to the front though to make sure it is not too close to the BTA

Yeah moving it forward and down would be good....Again were trying to get the flow across the front.....Nothing drastic where we're picking stuff up though.........

I'm assuming that return is firing directly at the front panel.......If that is the case leave it where it is.....Again key is "efficient" water movement....Firing the return at the front glass which in turn will push water back across the tank towards your overflow box......Technically it could be done a different way, but involves way more than you want to get involved with at this stage of the game.

OK...here it is (for now)    if you look closely you can see the ring to the left where it was...we tried a little lower, BUT too much sand moved.....right now I see a few pieces of sand move when it is on its higher flow....We have not tied it down yet....I really need to watch the bubble coral and make sure it is not too much.....and the cabbage leather too.,....

Ok....Just keep them from kicking up sand.....Are you running the MP40's wide open......What about playing with your modes....short pulse or long pulse, that way the blast isn't constant.......

The MP40 goes from lowest to highest......I will mess with modes another time....not wanting to make too many changes at once

WELL I am happy to say the bubble coral has filled back out    PHEW!!!!     I was worried.....it did not like the first position I tried the MP40 at....and I have been thru heck and back with this coral...I WILL NOT chance it being unhappy

I will probably wait a couple of days before I do anything else as far as moving anything (mostly because of work)  BUT also because I think it is a good idea to give the tank a couple of days to adjust and see how things go

WELL.....I hate to say this....BUT when I got home from work today my tank looked WORSE then it ever had.....and the bubble was NOT happy again   :(

SO I put the MP40 on the right side back where it was

IDK what I am going to try next.......actually I'm going to eat dinner and have a drinkshrug.gif
