Nano skimmers Pros and Cons please....

Im looking into getting a nano skimmer for my cube..

but would like a comprehnsive list on what you all have had and why you liked it and why not...

so please let me know :)

 

Ive seen HORRIBLE reviews for the Seaclones.. 

and mixed on alot of others...

looking to keep it in the under $150 range... (unless there is a spectacular one that I just should not live without?)

 

I am taking the top off of my cube so.....

I think the best skimmer that I have read reviews on and talked to many people about is the tunze nano. It's in the $150 range. It's rated for up to a 26g SPS dominated tank or a 50g Lps/ softie tank. If you get it, you will have to modify it a little to fit in the back of the cube. I think it's as simple as snapping off the magnetic holder.

I use the jbj nano in my cube, and the aquatic life 115 in my 29G....Both are fairly inexpensive, and have worked fine for me

cool, hopefully i hear about a few more..

its getting down to the last weeks before we move and once we get to DC and get our household good delivered I want to make 1 order for my lights and skimmer and then get started! I have been looking forward to getting back into a tank for about 6 months now :)

The best nano hands down IMO is the Tunze Nano DOC, The little Aquaticlife does a really good job but the cup is like 3 ounce size. Both go in the tank or sump....
