My friend's tank

He hasn't done a water change in 3 years, hasn't had a filter in two years, has two working power heads, a non working skimmer I think and dosen't dose anything. Not sure how he does it. He does have a lot of algae on the glass but everything else looks pretty good.

I'm surprised that hammer is doing that well, but I'm convinced that softies like dirty water, LOL.

Don't you just want to strangle people that can get away with this stuff?

I'm surprised also on the hammer. He gave me 2 heads about a year ago and now I have around 50+ heads. And yes I want to strangle him.

There's a guy in our local reef club with an SPS dominated tank who does a water change once a year, no filter, just powerheads and his tank is AMAZING. He doses a capful of Part A and B of the B-Ionic 2 part once a month, which is barely anything in a 125. The corals literally grow out of the water. I'll have to find a pic of his tank. Every time I see him I want to choke him.
