A cool SPS photo

Here is a pretty cool picture of my new SPS frag with my rose anemone and onyx clown fish in the background

I picked it up yesterday and wasn't sure of the name so an ID would be appreciated greatly but it has opened wonderfully

It's yellow with purple polyp extensions (if you can't tell, its under heavy atinics for the first hour my lights are on then the daylights turn on)

Is it 6" from that anemone, when the anemone is fully open? From the picture you can't tell. Sorry I have no idea what type of coral that is.

No, its about 3-4 inches..and thanks anyways

So you are moving it a little further away? Because the anemone will sting it if you don't.

I probably should move it away..I gotta find a good spot for it though

Hopefully your anemone will find nice spot and stay put, its when they keep on moving around that's a headache.

kind of hard from the picture and the intense actinic glow on it. Look up a few of these and see if any match it.

Stylophora ....these can be green

a species of hysterix or birdsnest

pocillipora too perhaps.

all of these species are very close though, it would be better to take a picture of it with teh day lights on
