Specs:

  • Combination of Edixeon 3-watt LED's.
  • Universal 110-240 Volts AC at 50/60Hz.
  • E26/E27 Standard Socket (regular light bulb).
  • Power Consumption: 10 watts.
  • Low Profile Dimensions: 3.75″ diameter and 3.75″ in height.
  • 40 and 60 Degree optics provide high PAR output with good light spread.
  • Excellent coverage for a 12″x12″ area.

These are the specs for the bulb.... hopefully it'll be okay I may get it in all white and buy some separate moonlights.

I'm not sure if the fixture I want will support it??? and its only a 12g cube so im not sure how huge it will look...

Its just one of my options,, I really didnt want to spend more than like $125 for a new light for it.. but you kinda get what you pay for I know..

This is what 1 of those boost fixtures would look like over your tank with the light 5" above the tank.  The corners would be kind of dark.  If you could rais it to about 8-10" or so you could get full coverage.  You're probably not going to be able to support everything with them.  But it could probably satisfy a nice little mixed tank.
