my frogspawn won't open, any ideas

Thread Starter

so i have a 12 gallon nano cube, took my water in for some test and everything seems to be normal

my coral started to not open all the way for about 1 month now.

I do see small white creatures which i assume are copepods and some bubble algae is attached to the dead branch.

Any ideas?

I'm going to move this thread to a different section of the forum to help you get some more answers. Frogspawn's are not soft corals, which might be why no one is commenting in this section.

As far as testing, definitely get your own test kits. Many stores will test your water (some even charge for it to be done), and then tell you it's fine in hopes that you'll then buy more products (after all, you're tank is fine, remember?)

Can you get a picture of what you think are copepods just to rule out anything else that it might be?

Do you feed it or have you tried to?

How is the flow?

How much water flow is there?
How much light?
What did you test for?
Salinity
Nitrite
Amonia
Is that Caribbean Worm Snail and are the webs iritating the coral?
