Hippo Tang HLLE or Ich

Hopefully you guys can shed some light on what is going on with my tang.

 

I can see the HLLE around the mouth and eye, however there are white spots  about .5 inches back between pectoral fin and tail fin. In some of the photos they look black because of the flash but they are white. They are bigger than a pin, they popped up in about 8 hours. They werent there this morning but by the time i came home from work they were there.  No new fish were introduced in over 6 weeks and it is an established tank. The only thing that was added was some copepods to my refugium.

Ive been struggling with reversing the HLLE with diet. But doesnt seem to be improving. The tang eats like crazy but will not eat red or green seaweed that is clipped . I put it out everyday but he doesnt even touch it.....

Do you use vitamins?   Get some selcon...and some zoe......soak their food in it daily

 

what are you feeding?    Another thing is to keep the water as perfect as you can...and the fish as stressfree aws possible
