I will play with it and see tomorrow. Just bought an aussie elegance from a fellow reefer who is jumping ship. Alot of his corals were CHEAP! I got this elegance for 50 bucks and picking up this awesome rock next week with a crap load of corals on it for 20. The Wife also got some for 10 bucks each. This guy is selling everythin in his tank and the tank. he showed me aome led's for 250 but I wasn't that impressed with them. A potters Angel for 50 bucks I think. Thought about it briefly...

So, in 6 weeks, will be redoing the reef again!! Yehaw

Funny how that happens. You get the tank "how you want it" and you go and change it again.

We should compare pics of our elegance corals. I got mine for 80 and this sucker is huge. I had to dedicate half my tank to it. I got it from someone that was going in a different direction with his tank. I also got a couple of frags cheap from him.

thats just great fun when someone else has plans for their tank and HAS to make room for something else. I would love to see your elegance. I'll show you mine if you show me yours. (oh that could be taken wrong!! Lol

I think it has at least 12 mouths. You only see a small portion of the elegance. I can try to get a pic of it in the morning when it is more retracted. I know I could easily frag it if I wanted to without damaging the coral. I have it in moderate flow. When the lights are on, the tentacles are more flowing and not as stubby. I can't wait to see yours.

I thought my sons camera would take a charge from the computer but it does not and our camera is like....... dead. So, as soon as I can get a pic I wil do so. Mine looks similar to yours with the purple tips. The guy had it for a couple of years and it grew since he had it.

I would be scared stupid to frag one of these. A friend of mine had one that was hugeginormourus. He ended up giving it to his local zoo aquarium because it was so big and heavy. He didn't know how to frag then. He sure misses that piece. He had it for 12 or so years. He used to post on here, that how he found me, but I haven't seen him around for some time. (mental note, call the commander)

While adding water to the tank after the water change, I started blowing some of the crap off of the rocks. All the Corals opened, thought you all would be interested.

As a medical professional, you probably know this is a serious symptom...
