Seahore babies Please help

Hi,

Came down a couple of days after my mother's funeral to find my seahorses had babies.

I ran and got a 2 gallon tank filled it with water from the seahorse tank so quality would be the same.

Ran and bought baby frozen brine shrimp for fry

NONE survived.   What I want is this time to be prepared and don't know how a seahorse fry tank should be set up???

I READ AND READ AND READ.... yet I can't find decent information.

To top it off yesterday found one of my seahorses dead. Water tests show all is good so no clue what happened. The other 3 as of this morning seem to be fine.

SO do I need airline tube or airstone for a small 2 to 5 gallon tank? So that on one website.

A filter or no filter?

How do I keep a small tank with nothing in it running properly so it stays good quality for the next batch of babies?

IF possible please email me directly as with the loss of my Mom I have not been able to come to the forum much

Appreciate any and all advice

Lisa

PS  Besides the mysis shrimp that my horses love. Heard i should add alage paste and or selcon to the food for more nutrition.

I don't want to loose these beautiful horses so appreciate advice

Hey Nova for the sake of us other horse owners, how about you post an answer to her question here as well. Not that I'm all that ambitious but I would still like to know.

I'm at work so I really don't have time for a full response, but I gave her some pointers in the way of links since she was apparently having a hard time finding the info she needed online.  It's there, you just need to know where to look!
