cleaner shrimp too close to anemone

Thread Starter

I'm afraid that my newly acquired cleaner shrimp could be swallowd by my very large long tentacle anemone. That anemone with two clowns is almost 12" across when open.

My medium size shrimp have been staying very close to the anemone since I have added it to my 90 gal.two days ago.

Could it be eaten  by the anemone?

Also could that anemone eat a emerald crab?

Thanks

Welcome to the world of those who keep anemones...the answer to both questions is YES. ANYTHING stupid enough to get too close can become anemone food. If the anemona can't eat it, it will sting the hapless critter to death.
