Message luvmyreef, she had a long, hard battle with dino and finally beat it, she'll have some good tips for you.

Bang Guy, what type of dino is this? I've always thought dino was more red in appearance, or at least the more common form, with the stringy bubbles, etc.

All forms of Dino are some shade of Brown. All that I am aware of anyway (there are always exceptions flamed.gif) The dark brown species do look red under some lighting.  This species is just a lighter brown.

Just wanted to update that I seem to have completely eradicated the dinos using the peroxide method! I'm super thrilled about it, my tank hasn't looked this good in a long time. I have a few spots of gha that I need to stay on top of, but thankfully the dinoflagellates are gone and hopefully won't come back!

Did you dose in the tank....or take the rocks out?

I dosed in the tank. After the first dose I could see a difference. After 4 days it was probably 95% gone. I dosed for 7 days (last day today) even though I don't see any more at all, just to be sure.
