Jelly fish

would a 30 gal. hex. tank be good enough for jelly fish and where can i get info about what are their needs.

Unfortunately you're not going to find many knowledgeable people here when it comes to jellyfish. They're not easy to care for and have very specific requirements that scare most people away from them.

The hex tank would be a little more difficult to DIY into a Jelliquarium. I would try a tall cube shape and add baffles and power bars for the right flow. If you want to bread them you will be getting in to a more costly system and add lots more maintenance to your day.

ok that's about sums it up for me, i was playing with that thought since i have the 30 gal hex. thank you for the help
