This remarkable wrasse will grow to 20" in length. This wrasse is very active and is considered semi-aggressive. Provide rockwork and plenty of open swimming space. It is recommended to keep this fish with other large fish as it may eat smaller fishes.This wrasse does not need a sand bed but does require a cave large enough to accommodate it.In its natural habitat this fish feeds upon shrimp, crabs, snails, and urchins.Provide a carnivorous diet such as chopped clam, squid, krill and silversides.
