Yikes...I would certainly watch for signs of stress. Is there anyway you can pick up a longer tank somewhere cheap?

I can look around for one. Also when you introduced yours to your DT did the purple and him fight? I ask cause I have a powder brown in my DT now and don't really want to get rid of him.

My purple was in the tank for over a year before him, and fortunately my purple has always been a very laid back tang...so he cared less when the Achilles was added. The Achilles on the other hand is a serial murderer...LOL. Only issue you may have is the powder brown/blue and the Achilles are all from the same family (and same shape) so you have more likelihood for aggression problems.

I think this was already said but it is worth repeating, fish are more aggressive towards fish of a similar color and shape. So odds are you will see some aggression between the powders and the achilles, you would have better luck aggression wise with a purple/ yellow tang like jen said.

The one thing he has going for him is the fact the brown was in first. Generally there less aggressive. So it may wrk depending on how much territory each has
