Awhile ago I bought a beautiful toadstool coral from a local Tankie and everything was fine we carefully moved it from his tank to mine and it started out fine it is attached to two separate live rock and when placing it it kind of tore at the base. but the next day the polyps tried to open but didn’t fully. Sense then it is developing white spots on the top of it. I read a lot online about similar situations but I’m getting mixed feedback from those so I decided to post my own and see what everyone thinks I should do? Or just let it be?

It looks ok to me. Soft corals often do that. They kind of get a waxy coating that they then shed. This is how the clean themselves but also a response to stress. It should be fine as long as you have adequate light.
