theyll hide, find a good wrock crevice or somethin but they down burrow like pencil wrasses do. if imnot mistaken soem fairy wrasses are liek that too. i had an exquisite a while back that just mucused up and didnt burrow. ive got a DSB so it not like they couldnt if they really wanted to burrow.

how many switches do you have? i mix up my spectrums per on/off switch...eg. one switch for true actnicts, one switch for high spectrum daylight bulbs, and one for mid spectrum. that way you can mix and match what goes on when... mimicing sunrise/sunset etc.

ive got it on the bottom of the tank now, in direct flow and in almost direct light. getting it good flow and no light might be hard... i'd assume the light is more important in this case since i can always spot feed and clean it..?

most likely youre just at the begining stages. the hair is likely hair algae, which is common during the cycle and for young tanks. my advice would be to wait and continue to test, i expect youll see the levels spike shortly. if you dont, may be bad test kit.. take a sample to the LFS and have...

heh, i checked today.. totally bleached :/ oh well. im not too worried about it bleaching, i was just cruious how long coraline could be exposed to air.

i was glueing soem frags on a shell covered in coraline and when i put it back in the tank i noticed it was a much more florescent pink and has yet to return to its normal color. did i kill the coraline?

anemones can be tough, if i remember correctly this is one of the harder ones. stability is key.... how sticky is it? that can be one way to gauge health

my LFS is moving and gave me some super mini frags that had propagated throughout one of thier tanks. i'm aware of the feeding requirements but was wonderign if anyone had suggestions on how to feed a super tiny frag? target it.. or pull it out and put it in a phyto mix?

that shouldnt be too much of a swing as long as its not drasticaly fast, chekc your levels again and id suggest soem serious water changes. the only tiem mine did this is when the power went out for a day and the temp blew up to the high 80''s. this is typical behaviour for a stressed anemone
