Dehumidifier top off

this may or may not be a stupid question lol but I have a dehumidifier in my basement next to my sump...instead of running the water it collects into my sewer drain couldn't I run it into my sump after some sort of filtering? Again this is prob a stupid question lol just curious though :~}

Check it for TDS.

The humidity condenses on the coils which are generally made of copper and aluminum. Over time they get rusty and corroded a little bit. So if anything you may want to filter it through a DI canister.

It was just a thought that popped in my head lol not currently doing it just was curious on others thoughts lol
