The Four Wheel Drive Goby, Signigobius biocellatus, also known as the 4-Wheel Drive Goby and Signal Goby, features two "eyes" on its dorsal fin and a beautiful blue-spotted black anal fin. Its black ventral and anal fins make it look like it is sitting on four black tires, hence its name. The Four Wheel Drive Goby likes to build burrows deep in the substrate so be sure to have a sandy-bottom if keeping this fish. Plenty of rockwork to provide hiding places is also necessary. It will eat primarily a diet of enriched brine and mysis shrimp as well as other chopped frozen seafoods. Feedings should be frequent. The Four Wheel Drive Goby is easy to care for and makes a wonderful fish for a beginner aquarist as it is hardy and acclimatizes very easily.
