will this setup be fine? i have a fowlr saltwater tank. I used to go to a buddies for water and now he moved. I purchased this but unsure if i bought the wrong one and cant find anything on the forums.. this is the one i bought, the first picture below. my water supply would be county public water from the sink.

aquatic life ro buddie filter w/ color changing deionization resin

also if i do not need the second one. what is the difference?

could i just buy the De-ionization (DI) Color Changing Mixed Bed Resin Cartridge separately? and if so how would that work, easy setup?

I'd advise against this unit. It is cheap initially but changing filters means buying new cartridges. You are better off with a basic model from BRS or another similar unit.

I would go with a 4 stage filter. check your water pressure to make sure you don't need a pump. Buy a TDS meter to tell you when you are loosing efficiency AND all unites will eventually need their cartridges replaced.

By cartridge I mean the whole thing, filter and plastic case.
