Bristle worms

so this is probably a dumb question and I have done my share of research but should I be worried about 4-6” bristle worms killing fish? I know they primarily feed on dead or dying fish but I was just curious...I am definitely gonna start feeding a lot less because I all of the sudden have a huge population of worms could be a hundred or more I have no idea...I have also heard to buy blue hermits which will compete for the same food...I know worms are good but I definitely could use to cut back I think...not sure I have to be worried about fish my smallest one is a pretty large royal gramma that I have had for years...I just wanted some opinions I guess if I do have anything to worry about? Thanks

They won't eat live fish. They are a good indicator of over feeding tho. You could also get a brittle star to help w extra food
