Cheato grows too fast?

if your talking about in your main tank. I personally wouldnt its not as envasive of a macro as calupera but it can grow quickly and in a main tank it can sorta take over.

Well i wanted to make my frag tank double as extra refugium space and was going to put chaeto in the bottom, but maybe a good cleanup crew would control it?

It depends on what nutrients are available. Some chaeto won't grow if there is nothing for it to consume. A plant in a pot with exausted soil under direct light will eventually die. Hope that helps.

Besides you can regulate how much is in the tank by harvesting what you don't want and selling or giving it away. Harvesting it how we export nutrients.

Ok thanks everyone for the imput. Ill probabely just put some shaving brush plants and some other cool looking plants in the bottom.
