Critter acclimation inqry

So, cycling 45 gall. Live rock, biospira, live sand, power head, fluval cannister filter, all running. Proyein skimmer and water test kit coming in mail. Heres the question, my currently running tank is 20 gal once water chrcks out on new tank, , can i acclimate the whole smaller tank, with water from new 1, instead of just acclimating the critters in a clean new bucket? Over like 2 ton3 days, Seems easier? Anybody do this instead? Seems less stressful? Thoughts? Thnx

Match prams and acclamation should be easy

I would not add everything all at once. Put a couple days between each addition to make sure the bacterial load in the new tank is dealing with the additions. If all parameters are the same you should have no problem.

Test water freq. watch your levels once you are satisfied it has cycled add two fish.. watch water prams stretch out adding remaining livestock..
