would like to know if they make a carbon filter that goes in a wet dry system or where is the best place to put the carbon if you put it in a filter bag i was told to put it on the top where the water dumps in but i can not put the lid back on tight if i do then water will run out of the sides i don't think some of the people at my local fish store know that much.i hate to keep asking these questions but there is not much help here.

Actually, I buy the filter pads that have carbon on one side and regular cotton type material on the other for my wet/dry filter. They are blue on one side and black on the other and made by Marine Land. Make sure the blue side is facing up.
