Georgia Aquarium

I was in Atlanta this past week and took a little time to visit the aquarium. They have an awesome reef tank. If you have never seen it, it is by far my favorite tank in all the aquariums I have visited across the country. While I was there, there was another smaller tank filled with assorted Anthias....it was absolutely filled with color. I did not get any pictures of the smaller tank, but here are a few of close ups of the larger tank. The pictures do not do it any justice. BTW, that is natural light coming into this tank.

I could spend all my time just staring at these tanks. If you have never been to the Georgia Aquarium, it is worth the effort.

I always wanted to go to that aquarium. Have you ever visited the Shed here in Chicago?

I have seen the shed aquarium....pretty good place! enjoyed an afternoon there several years ago

My visit to the GA aquarium was the main reason I got a tank. It is amazing and I will visit it again. My family enjoyed it as much as I did. My avatar was taken there also, the dolphin staying there with my daughter was worth the trip.

I've never been to the GA aquarium, though I've driven through Atlanta many times. Guess one day I'm going to have to STOP....it looks beautiful.
