Leather corals turned yellow

So I have a colony of leather corals. I've had the mother for 17 years, and when I bought it, it was a nice light brown. It has dropped frags on it own, so now there are about 6. A couple of years ago, all of them started turning yellow. They shed on occasion, but never have they started to "melt" away. I had them under CFLs since I bought the original. When the color change started I switched them to LEDs. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before. They are a nice deep, bright yellow. I will try to upload a pic of than when I get home. Suggestions?

Where are these placed in your tank, water flow in that area, and lighting?
