Lionfish fin rot(pictures)

My lionfish started acting funny, just sitting on the bottom of the tank and not hovering or hiding in a corner like usual so i took a closer look and its sail and its fin right behind the spines look like the webbing has been chewed up or rotting away, also the side of his body, the dark spots especially look to be fading, almost looks like paint being scratched and chipping off
i couldnt get a good picture of the tail, but its half as long as it should be and he cant swim anymore, he tries, but then just sinks back down, and has to swim like crazy to get anywhere since the tail and fin is gone

fish is now dead, went from attempting to swim and breathing to completely dead in under 2 hours, closer to one, sad to see him go, was my first fish =[

man sorry to hear that its sad when u grow with these fishes they r like any other pet cats and dogs to me.

they rely on you for everything, if a fish gets loose, it dies, if a dog or cat gets loose, itll make it so eventhough i care about my dog, these fish are more important to me
im just surprised whatever kill it happened so quickly
