Lobo placement

I have had this for around 6 months and it does not seem to be doing as good as it could be. When I look around I find a lot of different ideas on where to place these... some med light, some low light.
I have a 90g with 2 250w and 2 t52. It has been about 2-3 in off my sand bed but I am going to move it up about 1/2 way up around 18-24 in below my lights. (shown in new higher location in the pic)
Ideas?

It's pretty much toast. 250w halides can penetrate to the bottom of a standard 90gal without a problem. Give it some time and target feed it and see what happens. It looks like there is a little (although bleached) flesh left on it.

So would you say drop it to the bottom under a ledge? Low light?

Low light for sure, I have a friend who does lobos and he glues under a ledge, only light it really gets it from reflection off the sand.

yea, move it down and target feed it.. it might come back, generally MH lighting and "open brain" types dont mix.( high in the tank) open brains are more deeper water.
