Hey guys, first post. I have been contemplating on a JBJ Nano 28G. Originally I had planned on getting the 27W LED intermediate and thought that after a year of running a balanced tank I can upgrade the lights, with either TrueLumen Pro strips or a retrofit kit. I thought about getting the Pro but it's out of my price range right now and I also have read that the LEDs are not dimmable and they have been known to bleach corals. However, I may have the opportunity to get a JBJ 28G HQI at a really good price and, I was thinking about just getting the LED retrofit to upgrade the lighting. So I was wondering everyone's thoughts on the below scenarios:

Goal is to have a established reef tank, with SPS, LPS, Clams etc...

I have a cat and a 6yr old boy, so I really would like to keep the enclosed hood.

Scenario 1 - I get the HQI and upgrade the lighting. Does anyone have experience with either of these three retrofits and which one would everyone recommend?

JBJ HQI to LED 75W - http://www.nanotuner.com/contents/en...J_LED_DIY.html
JBJ HQI to LED 75W (looks to be similar t the Nano Tuner) - http://jbjledretrofitkits.com/conten...D_DIY_Kit.html
RapidLED HQI to LED (not sure of wattage) - http://www.rapidled.com/jbj-nanocube...-retrofit-kit/

Scenario 2 - I purchase a new JBJ 27W Intermediate tank and eventually update the lighting.

What kind of corals has people able to keep successfully with this lighting?
Has anyone had experience with the Nano Turner LED retro to 60W? (same link as above)
If I keep stock lighting and add Current TrueLumen 12" strips. What kind of coral can I have? http://www.**************.com/produc...m?pcatid=25474
