New to Saltwater / What size tank is too hard to start with?

I am not new to fish but new to saltwater. I had a 55gal African Cichlid tank and now I would like to try a saltwater Cube. Is there a tank type/size that is easier or harder to take care of being a first-time saltwater enthusiast?

FYI, cube tanks don't provide the best use of space. Among the most useful sizes IMHO are 20 Long, 40 Breeder, 75-90 gallon, 125 gallon, etc. 20 Long will work for 3-4 small fish but that's about it. 40 Breeder can add some more smaller fish as well as something like a Pygmy Angel (smaller than the Dwarf Angels they are lumped in with).
