Pipe fish

Hello, I am just wondering if caring for a pipefish is any different than caring for a seahorse. And I was wondering if you can put a pipefish in a reef aquarium. I have heard conflicting arguments on the topic and I would like to have some 1st hand advice. Muchas Gracias

In my tank:
starfish
urchin
regal tang
multiple corals( a bubble, but mostly zoos and mushrooms )
anglefish
mild aggressive blenny
pink stripped goby
pistol shrimp
I have live sand and rock
some pest anemones

Pipefish I will admit are not my expertise compared to seahorse. I do know they can with stand a higher flow rate than the average seahorse. so they can do well in reefs....you just have to watch out for any mildly aggressive fish or stinging corals as Pipefish are peaceful.
