Possible new growth?

Hello all!
I just got this frogspawn last week.
I don't remember seeing the small spike like thing you see here on the left. Is that a new baby spawn? Lol

If you notice on the left, it's where the rock is slightly darker almost a tan brown color.

Honestly I don't see what you're talking about, but I'm viewing from a tiny cell phone screen. But, usually when a torch, frogspawn, or hammer forms a new head, it splits from the original head and slowly detaches and grows it's own stalk as it's splitting.

Thanks for the reply . I'll try to capture better pic but I think what you mentioned is the case
