Power compacts

i have an eclipse 3 hood and i am thinking about removing the existing lights and replacing them w/ the power compact hood 2-55 watt which i think i can fit in there w/ a few changes. any thoughts? bad idea? also, i saw a six inch bristle worm w/ red/white bristles should i remove him or what do i do? please help

what size tank do you have? sounds like too big of a bristle worm for a tank smaller than 100 gallons. i consider them beneficial, but at that size should be removed. power compacts are a great idea if you want to keep corals. the hard corals and some of the soft corals will love power compacts as opposed to your hood now that will likely not provide enough light to keep them feed.
