RO/DI

Anyone have any experience with making their own RO/DI water with a system? Am pondering purchasing a 5-stage system. I’m just nervous I’ll screw something up! I have well water and am pretty sure that’s what wiped out my first salt water tank (30 gal)

I’ve made my own for years. I have my 5 stage unit set up under my kitchen sink and use the RO part for drinking water. I have a pressure tank under the sink and a RO faucet in the sink. Only the fish tank water goes through the DI. I have a diverted valve that allows me the segregate the DI. Super easy to set up.

Yeah that’s my only concern is that it’s a pain to set up. Figured I’d just buy one on amazon and give it a shot!

I bought mine at BRS. THEY HAVE GOOD UNITS AT REASONABLE PRICES AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE PEOPLE CAN WALK YOU THROUGH ANY PROBLEMS YOU HAVE. Sorry about all caps, it was an accident and too much work to rewrite.

I'm in the process of making RODI water for my new 75 Gallon. Been at it all day...lol!
