I think so neither are big swimmers. I used to have a snowflake in a 45 hex until it got out. Tight lid is important for an eel. I think you will be limited to snails maybe hermits for cleaners. Shrimp won’t have a chance with the eel.

Agreed, the lion will eat shrimp too. Hermits, large snails should be ok
