10 to 13 heads? Good lord that is huge. Mine is huge and only has 3 heads. Torches do have a tendancy to acquire brown jelly disease. Place it in a moderate flow and keep it away from other corals as it will sting neighbors.

Brown jelly disease looks how it sounds. It resembles a slime that will literally wipe the entire coral out over night. If you see it you need to act fast. Removing the slime can be done by placing the coral in a higher flow to remove the slime or by removing the infected head.
They come in different colors. I had a maroon one with white tips once.

No, just keep it in a moderate flow. You want the tentacles to sway a bit. I don't know why I always mention brown jelly disease when someone is interested in a torch. I guess because myself and a few others that I know have battled it before. Don't let me scare you. Buy it and enjoy.

A larger pic would help. I had my nose up to the computer monitor. In that second pic that I showed you can see the frogspawn and torch next to each other. The tips are different on both.

Yes, that sounds like a very good buy.
...and thanks Jerry on the id. Sorry I don't have better pics on the computer, and the tank has gone to bed for the night.
