Zoom is 100%. Text is medium, Encoding is Unicode (UTF-8), Medium security, medium privacy, my mointor res is 1280x1024.
When I recommended to trying clearing history/cookies, I forgot to suggest clearing your SSL cache. In IE8, Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Clear SSL state. Exit the IE8 and reopen.
The only other thing, would be to go to http://www.update.microsoft.com (only in IE) and then click 'Custom" and make sure you have all the updates, on the left side, Software, Optional & Hardware, Optional.

Nope, not fixed.
That some are not having a problem in IE indicates to me that it is a setting issue of some sort with IE. And the only way to may fix it is to uninstall it and try to reinstall a fresh IE....no small task really.

I've installed both FF and Chrome, and used them on the forums with no aggravating errors. The Search is still down, but most of the other glitches seem to not carry over to these other browsers.

The only smilie character to change with the upgrade was the rolleyes guy. I would really like to see a different one. This new guy is big time weak

I have forwarded these bugs to IT, and I'll be nagging them in the AM.
Sorry for the continuing problems.

Click Settings at the top, then General Settings on the lower left. Then scroll down a ways. You can set the # of posts per page, from 5 to 40. I do wish the high number was larger, 50 like old, or even better like 100.

Seeing less posts per page seems to have fixed the lag I was experiencing with 'heavy topics'.

I have a Macintosh computer that runs Mac OS X 10.6.3 (Snow Leopard) and I use Firefox as my main browser. For some reasons, lately when I try to open the Saltwater.com forum in Firefox, I get an error page, instead. It says:
Bad Request

Safari opens the forum page with no problems. Has anybody else reported having this issue?

Editing posts, is it just me, or is there no 'quick edit' anymore? It automatically goes straight to the 'advanced edit' for me.

I've noticed that I can now use advanced posting and can post a new thread in IE. That's a vast improvement.
Search prior to the upgrade is still down.

I seem to be having a problem with the search engine as a whole
Everytime I try to look for something (post-upgrade) it tells me the words are too common
..I have not found anything with the new search....just a lot of reading :(

I like it this way... it's keeps people honest. There's enough time to fix typos but peeps have been changing whole arguementts several days after the fact.
