using stock filters

should we use them? Is it better to replace with filter floss? Do you use ANY of whats given? (carbon, exC)

Filter socks are a personal preference.....Not a wrong or right answer to the question.....I prefer to use filter socks, but must be changed frequently though.....I personally wouldn't use filter floss....IMO messier to deal with vs filter socks, plus no real added expense with the filter socks....When you pull the dirty one out drop it in the washing machine with a bit of bleach (no soap), wash and hang dry.....I use when I can't smell the bleach smell....I do have 10 I keep on hand so never really in a rush waiting for one to dry.
Not sure what your referring to when you say "use any of what's given..." (carbon).....I'm gathering your asking if anyone uses these products as well.....I for one do run carbon, and again some do some don't.......
