What is that!?

Looks like some kind of algae. I wouldn’t worry about it at this time. The tank looks pretty new. They go through phases where there is more algae in the first year.

I got a sea slug yesterday and he looks to be doing fine but he left some kind of red stuff behind this morning. Has anyone seen this and knows what it is? This is my first sea slug.

What kind of sea slug. Sea slug covers a vast number of animals. Not recommended and certainly not for a beginner. They have specialized diets and do very poorly in a tank

Very difficult to keep. In my opinion not something that should be in the aquarium trade. My understanding is they have a very specific diet, one particular kind of sponge. They starve in tank.
