What is this LPS??

Everyone that has seen this coral has asked what it is and I have no idea...Anyone out there know??

It is a very nice deep green and it has some incredible sweeping tentacles that come out at night. Any ideas??

I've looked at countless pictures of open brains and can't find anything that looks like this one.
The guy that gave it to me said it was in the cabbage coral family??

The flesh is very soft and squishy....and it has a very hard skeleton underneath....not sure if that helps.
This piece has about 4-5 "mouths" where the tentacles come out from and they will grab and eat pieces of krill, mysis, etc.

IMO yours does not have any of the color stiations normally seen but that could just be some stress from shipping - handling etc. Give if some time. The flesh should be spongey and they do have a hard skeleton underneath.

This thing is definitely not stressed.....I've had it for a year now!!

Okay here is something else for you to look at if you can pick it up and flip it over in your hand.
The corallum )skeleton) of T. geoffroyi is generally conical, which is useful for establishing itself on soft substrate, while the collallum of T. radiate is flat.

You know of anywhere to get good pictures of that to compare to?? Google hasn't pulled up much

Maybe it is!! That looks very similar.

Almost looks like pectinia but they are usually more lumpy. Closest it reminds me of though.
